Example:
Have students cut straws into 10 pieces. Let them arrange 5 of these pieces in ascending order. The other 5 need to be arranged in descending order. Tape or glue the straw pieces to the paper. Students then use a ruler to measure the length of each straw. Record the lengths under each straw.
